miguel_angel_sorrocheAssociate Professor of Art History, he is responsible for bachelor-level courses on the Pre-Hispanic art, architecture, and urban planning of Latin America in the Modern Age, and on Cultural Heritage and Tourism.

He was the leading investigator in the research project entitled “The missions of Baja California (Mexico) from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Cultural landscape and promotion” (2009 – 2012).

He is following three lines of research. The first one focuses in the field of cultural heritage and, more specifically, in the study of smaller historical centers and traditional architectural heritage; the second addresses the processes of cultural exchange between the Pre-Hispanic world and Europe; and the last one centers on historical itineraries in America.
