2She qualified as an architect at the National University of Colombia, and has specialized in the history of architecture and art in the New Kingdom of Granada. Currently she is Associate Professor and Researcher at the Institute of Aesthetic Research, Faculty of Arts, National University of Colombia. She coordinates and lectures in the Master’s Degree program in the Conservation of Immovable Cultural Heritage. Within the same Faculty she collaborates in the doctoral program on History of Art and Architecture, in the Master’s Degree in Artistic Education, and in the Master’s Degree in Museum Studies and Heritage Management. She is director of the research group Historical-Artistic Studies of Cultural Property, and is part of the Latin American Network of Researchers in Art and Heritage, Andalusia and America: Cultural Pathways. Several of her publications focus on material culture, Mudejar art, and household studies.
