The use of audiovisual media is our means to show the results of the investigations to a broad audience. With this idea on mind, these short videos aim to enhance the life and work of the Andalusian intellectuals who moved to South America during the 20^th century looking for better living conditions or to go into exile from the Spanish Civil War. Among these intellectuals were names such as José Machado (exiled in Chile), Francisco Gil Tovar (based in Bogota) or the painter Eladio Gil Zambrana (established in Cartagena de Indias).
